Curaçao: the CGA register

The Curaçao Gaming Authority's licence register page links its registers as PDF files. We searched the online gaming licence register dated September 21, 2026 for each operator's licence number. The entries below are copied as written.

The register listed Cloudbet and Stake as “Assessment in progress”, each with an expiry date that had passed by the time we read the file (Cloudbet: May 23, 2026; Stake: June 9, 2026). The register does not define that status. It may describe a renewal under review, but that is our reading, not the regulator's statement. It listed BitStarz as “Indefinite” with no expiry date (“N/A”).

Anjouan: the seal validator

Anjouan-licensed casinos embed a seal script that opens the regulator's validator for that specific site. On every Anjouan-licensed site where the seal loaded, it pointed to verification.anjouangamingboard.org.

  • The seal is the only working route in. The validator identifies a site by the ID carried in its seal. A bare domain look-up returns INVALID for every site, real or invented, so typing a casino's address into the validator is not a check and an INVALID result from it means nothing.
  • Lookalike register domains exist. Similarly spelled domains present themselves as the regulator or its validator. Compare the address letter by letter with verification.anjouangamingboard.org rather than trusting a search result or a badge.

Not checked: BC.Game (Anjouan, ALSI-202410011-FI1 as stated by the operator). No licence seal or licence text rendered on its site from our location, so we have no validator result to report.

What this does not show

  • An expired or in-assessment status does not prove a casino is unlicensed. The register does not explain “Assessment in progress”, and a renewal may be pending. Ask the operator for its current certificate and check the register again.
  • A VALID or Indefinite result is not a safety rating. It does not establish that an operator pays reliably, treats disputes fairly, or is legal where you live.
  • Results are dated. They describe the register file and validator on September 29, 2026. Registers change; re-check before relying on a status.
  • “Not checked” is our gap. It does not mean the licence is missing.
  • 7 operators is not the market. The sample is KrushBet's published, affiliate-funded catalogue.

How we checked, and how to reproduce it

  1. Take the licence number from the operator's site footer or terms. The numbers we used are in the tables and downloads.
  2. Curaçao: open the CGA licence register page directly rather than through a casino's seal, download the current online gaming licence register, and search it for the number (it starts OGL/). The file we read is the register dated September 21, 2026; a newer file may have replaced it.
  3. Anjouan: on the casino's own site, click the licence seal. Check that the page that opens is on verification.anjouangamingboard.org, spelled exactly, that it names the site you came from, and that the licence number matches the footer.
  4. Record the licensee, dates and status exactly as shown, with the date you read them. Do not interpret a status the register does not define.

The CSV has one row per operator; the JSON adds the method, sources and limitations. Keep the check date and the register file date when quoting a status.
